Explanation of Charges

Undergraduate & The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ School Tuition - Undergraduate students enrolled in 12 to 19 credit hours (inclusive) are designated as full-time students and are charged at the full-time tuition rate. Students exceeding the full-time load of 19 credit hours will be charged at the credit hour rate for each credit hour in excess of 19 in addition to the full-time tuition rate charge.

Housing - Based on a weighted average, this will vary depending on your actual room assignment.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Student Association (CUSA) Activity Fee - Assessed by CUSA on all undergraduate students carrying a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester and distributed to clubs & organizations.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Student Association (CUSA) Campus Improvements Fund - Assessed by CUSA on all undergraduate students carrying a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester for capital priorities identified by students.

Resources Fee - Assessed to all full-time undergraduate students. Covers operations for recreational facilities, fitness facilities, health facilities & services, counseling facilities & services, computing facilities, services & related software, webinars, etc. (Note: This is not a health insurance premium.)

Grad Residential Program Resources Fee - Assessed to all students in residence and/or enrolled in a residential graduate program. Covers operations for recreational facilities, fitness facilities, health facilities & services, counseling facilities & services, computing facilities, services & related software, webinars, etc. (Note: This is not a health insurance premium.)

Grad Non-Residential Program Resource Fee - Covers operations for access to computing lab and online resources and related software, webinars, etc. Includes guest speakers and lecturers, computer lab resources and related software, the learning management system, Echo 360 which allows asynchronous learning sessions, voice thread and other online related services, library and database access and transcripts. (Note: This is not a health insurance premium.)

Grad Residential Program CUGSA Activity Fee - Assessed by CUGSA on graduate students in residence and/or enrolled in a residential graduate program and distributed to clubs & organizations.

Grad Non-Residential Program CUGSA Activity Fee - Assessed by CUGSA on graduate students enrolled in a non-residential program and distributed to clubs & organizations.

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ School Fee - This fee assists in covering various student activities such as field trips, guest lectures and special meals in association with The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ School.

Knight Card (optional, involves an opt-in process) - A prepaid, declining balance account which is a convenient, cashless way to make purchases on and off-campus (at participating locations). With no fees, no chance to overdraft, and no chance of accumulating credit card debt, the Knight Card is a great budgeting tool!  

Student Health Insurance (not applicable to all students) - Health insurance coverage is mandatory for residential program students. Students must either have their own health insurance coverage, health insurance through their parent/guardian or be enrolled in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ offered coverage.
